Blogs and CMS-powered sites
Our work runs the gamut from simple template changes to fully customized blog themes. Take a look:Startup Princess founder Kelly King Anderson wanted a site with professionalism and class without losing her branding. The design is based on the Revolution magazine theme and is powered by WordPress.
Jackie from Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle wanted a fresh header to update her look. We transformed the Blogger Minima template into a 3-column blog and designed and installed the header for this site.
We did a series of banner designs for Today's Homemaker, which uses the K2 template and is powered by WordPress.
VaBeachnik was a pipe dream of our creative director. It is no longer in service, but it was quite cool while it lasted. We designed and built this WordPress-driven site from the ground up. (Click thumbnail for the full-sized sample.)
We created this simple header and button image for Mary Lee Owens, a blog about a fictional character written by Sarah Bray.
"Regular" websites
What is a "regular" website? Well, you know. A regular one. One that's not a blog or a magazine or anything else. Here are a few of the sites we've done for small businesses and individuals alike.Welcome Home's owner wanted a clean, easy-to-navigate site that would clearly state their mission and brand. They provided a logo that they'd already created, and we designed the site around it.
The owner of MorningStar Music Learning Center wanted something warm and inviting, yet professional. We designed the logo as well as the site.
Virginia Beach baker Carol Jones of Not Just Frosting wanted a website that would inspire her clients while being artsy and fun. We designed the logo as well as the site.
This site is for Virginia-native singer/songwriter Ocie Lynn Fullen. Her goal was to have a simple website that would reflect the natural quality of her worship music.
Advertising and print design
Here are a few advertisements that we've designed for ourselves recently. (Click thumbnail for samples.)
