I’ve been on this Twitter thing for…oh…about a week now, and I am still trying to figure the whole thing out. John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing recently published an eBook called The Beginner’s Guide to Using Twitter for Business [pdf]. It’s very well done, and I even learned a few things (hello, twellow.)

I am also studying how Twitter can be used as a marketing tool. So far, I can see how it would be beneficial for gathering industry information for newsletters, articles, etc. If you find and “follow” Twitterers in your industry, you can discover innovative things they are doing and try to apply them to your business. I’ll let you know if I figure out other uses. PS -I am using this posting to see if it pops up on my Google Alert for s.joy studios
I *have* gotten a few interesting tweets in the past week, so I can definitely see how it’s great for gathering info. I also like how you can spur conversations with random thoughts. Great stuff.
